Erosion Control & Drainage Improvement Project in Silver Lake, Oregon
This project involved designing and constructing drainage improvements to protect a future homesite and access road from erosion caused by stormwater runoff. Surface water was flowing toward the planned building site and washing out sections of the existing road.
Bison Creek Company excavated and shaped multiple drainage swales to redirect runoff away from the homesite, reducing erosion and improving long-term drainage. We also repaired and regraded the access road and installed culverts beneath roadway crossings to maintain vehicle access while allowing stormwater to flow safely through the site.
The completed project improved drainage, protected the future building area, preserved road access, and helped reduce the risk of future erosion during heavy rain and snowmelt.
